WHAT YOU NEED

Round cabbage, shredded
½ small

Pancake Mixture

Carrot, shredded
1 small

Whole-wheat flour/wholemeal flour
120 g

Low-fat cheese*, shredded
4 slices

Baking powder
½ tsp

Oil *
2 tbsp

Eggs
2

 

Low-fat milk *
200 ml

HOW TO COOK THIS DISH

  1. Mix the ingredients for the pancake mixture until smooth and keep aside.

  2. Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Add in shredded cabbage, carrot and cheese.

  3. Pour pancake mixture onto the pan. Pan-fry until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot.

Food for thought:

Allow your child to experience the goodness of wholegrains by incorporating wholegrain products (eg. wholewheat flour, wholemeal flour) into the pancake.
