Korang Ok? - Baked Chicken Drumlets with Ranch Sauce

Ingredients

For the chicken drumlets

  • Chicken drumlets, 1 kg (separated)
  • Healthier oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Onion powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon
  • Lower-sodium salt*, 1 teaspoon

For the ranch sauce

  • Low-fat unflavoured yoghurt*, ½ cup
  • Dried dill, 1 teaspoon
  • Dried parsley, 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Lower-sodium salt*, ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper, ½ teaspoon

Method

  • Step 1: Preheat oven or air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Step 2: Pat dry the chicken drumlets using a kitchen tissue.
  • Step 3: Add the healthier oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and lower-sodium salt into a small bowl and mix well.
  • Step 4: Add half of the marinade to the chicken and mix well until all the chicken is covered in the marinade.
  • Step 5: Place chicken drumlets onto a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes, then pull the chicken out and brush the remaining marinade onto the chicken. Place the chicken back into the oven and let it cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Step 6: Prepare the ranch sauce by adding all the ingredients into a bowl. Mix it until well combined.
  • Step 7: Serve chicken drumlets with the ranch sauce.
